There is a Death Record Book at the Huntingdon County courthouse, Register and Recorder's Office, from memory I think the dates it contains are 1894-1905, the entries are the result of information turned in according to a regulation that was not always followed, I mean, it is clear from looking at the entries that many more deaths transpired than were submitted and recorded. The names of the parents of adults who died, were not recorded, but usually children's parents names are there. Starting in 1906, deaths were recorded at the state level and death certificates were required that at least asked for the parents' names to be entered. (Steve Kemp)
