    3. JEN, Yes, that is very possible and probable. After looking over the document again, I see that it refers to land. It states "His land adjoining a tract known by the name of "Wgaws" land in Shurlock Twp". So, it would make sense that it was a persons name, and what looks like a 'W' is probably 'Mc'. Thank you for clarifying that. Do you happen to know what twp they lived in? It says Shurlock, but another researcher suggested they might have meant Shirley? And, again I would tend to agree, especially since no one has ever heard of a Shurlock Twp. It states it is at the foot of Jack's Mountain. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Kathy Wells. ----- Original Message ----- From: BCGS07@aol.com To: rebeltrumpet@sbcglobal.net Sent: Sunday, April 06, 2003 3:51 PM Subject: wgaws What about the W being an M McGaw/MCraw is a possible name in the area>Jen
