M. to be trained agreeably to law. The companies will exercise on their respective parade grounds, on the first and second Monday's in October next, and at the Regimental parade on Tuesday the 21st day of October. All the Officers must appear in uniform with Swords and Espontoons agreeably to law, as they can no longer be indulged without them. No militia man to be admitted in the ranks without a firelock in good order, except those between the ages of 18 and 21 years and such others as the officers of the company shall deem unable to procure them. Robert Allison, Esq. is appointed Adjutant, and is to be obeyed accordingly. The court of Appeals will be held for the 1st Battalion at the house of Samuel Steel, in Huntingdon and for the 2d Battalion at the house of Mr. Samuel Henry, in Barree township, on Saturday the 1st day of November next. The accounts of those who neglect to comply with this notice will be put into the hands of proper officers for recovery, immediately after that date. HENRY MILLER NOTICE is also given, to those persons who are indebted to the Estate of Joseph Rothrock, deceased, to come forward and make immediate payment as the subscriber is under the necessity of making final settlement of said Estate. Due attention is respectfully required to this notice, as suits will be brought indiscriminately against all delinquents. This is therefore to caution all persons against taking an assignment on either of said Notes, as I am determined not to pay them unless compelled thereto by law; having already rendered Mr. M'Cormick full and complete satisfaction for the same. A considerable part of the land is river bottom, --all first Limestone, and capable of good improvements. There is a good Spring of water on the premises, besides the river running thro' it.
