Hello, I recently made a possible connection to August or Augustus BUSH in Juniata Twp. This possible direct relationship would be through his son William. If William was born in Harrison Twp, Bedford County then August could be my grgrgrandfather. If anyone is connected to these men, please contact me. Am trying to leave no stone unturned. Thank you. Betty, I've watched the Huntingdon geneology group for a long time and never heard anyone talk about my family, the Bushes. The names you mention sound familiar although I don't know if there were any born in Bedford County. Augustus Bush (I think spelled on his tombstone as BUSCH) was my great grandfather. He lived in Huntingdon Co. He had several sons including, Valentine, John W. (my grandfather), Silas, WILLIAM, Christ (or Christopher). I don't know where Juniata Twp is in Hunt. Co. but my great grandfather, August, lived near the Raystown River, I think. If any of this sounds familiar, I hope it helps. Also, I would really like to hear from you with any info you have re: the Bush family. I have some more info available. There is a portion of the Bush family I couldn't find but I may be able to give you some info about them. Hope to hear from you.
