Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ZdB.2ACI/3096 Message Board Post: I found a picture post card dated July 15, 1908 in a collectibles shop. The initials of the woman writer are: M.B.F. The writer’s photo is on the front of the card. She sent it to: Mrs. Mary Taylor of Clearridge, Fulton County, PA. The contents of the postcard are as follows: “Birmingham, PA. Dear Aunt, I hope you are well but I am not better. I am going down to sister Susan’s next week to stay a while to get a rest then if the Lord spares me, I am coming back and going to the sanitarium hospital at Roaring Springs. They think they can cure me and I cannot live this way. Sadie [Cadie ?] Miller landed safe. Auntie this card will help to keep the rats away. Good by M.B.F.” If anyone can identify this and would like it, I will send it to them. If you reply to me, I can send you a scanned picture of it and send via email.
