I am in search of a marriage between Noah Weaver and Jeanette/Jennie/Frances/Janet Downs......she used all those names as well did Noah go by Jacob at times.......going by my Great Grandfather's marriage application and death certificate. Noah and Jennie were in Huntingdon County,Pennsylvania in the 1870 census living with her parents Robert and Mary Downs.............they were in Rock Hill ........Orbisonia...............in the 1880 census they were in Orbisonia again...............between 1870 and 1880 there were three children born to this couple......I have to this day found NO record on this only census's..............and I know all about their one child in which is mt Great Grandfather............now, why is there no record anywhere on the two other boys? And Noah was living with the Downs family in 1870....between 1870 and 1880 Noah and Jennie were married.........they were in the Orbisonia area.............where could I look in that area for a marriage date at? In the 1880 census Robert Downs was no longer living...............where could I find where he was buried as well as get a death date on him? Believe me I have searched...... What Funeral Home was right there in Orbisonia between 1870 and 1880? Now, one of my Great Grandfather brothers was to have been killed either by a train or in a train.............would there not be records on that? The other one was while small have to been struck by lighting when playing ball.........wouldn't both of these deaths have to been checked out/looked into? Where oh where did all these folks go......how can I find out about a death? Would't you think that there would be some kind of obit or write up about the train accident as well as the other boy being hit by lighting? Any suggestions as to where to go to look for any of this stuff..records ............anything at all? I need your help. Thank You Bea
