    3. Have you checked the 'Journals of Josiah VanKirk Thompson'? Mr Thompson was a wealthy man from Uniontown, PA, who traveled all over the US working on his genealogy from c1897 to 1931, interviewing relatives and copying records in courthouses and cemeteries. The originals are in the Carnegie Library Pittburgh, but Charlee Wilson transcribed all 27 volumes and made them available on MyFamily.com. If you have more information, such as the name of his wife, I will do a search on what I have copied, but the volumes run 500-600 pages, so next to impossible to just search for a John Thompson. ----- Original Message ----- From: "ewintr" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, August 13, 2006 3:48 PM Subject: [PAHUNTIN] John Thompson abt 1852 > Hello, > > I would like to connect with anyone who knows of a > John Thompson who supposedly was around Huntingdon Co > about 1852, then moved west, maybe to Iowa. > > Elizabeth > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Tired of spam?
