McClure who was born in Huntingdon Co., PA. abt. 1838. This information in on the State of Illinois Online Civil War Databases, the Muster and Descriptive Rolls. He was in Co. B., 30th IL Infantry. He died of typhoid in a Nashville, TN, hospital on 06 May 1862. The State of Illinois shows his name as "Anderson J. McClure". I looked at a copy of the actual roll and it does show Anderson is his first name. The Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System at www.idt.nps.gov lists his name as "Andrew J. McClur" and as "Andrew J.
