Hello, Thank you for respomding. I have never heard of this book. Would I be able to access it at Myfamily.com or is it something I would have to purchase? The only information I have about this John Thompson is from a newspaper article regarding my ggrandmother, Harriet McGurvey/McGervey/McGarvey/M'Gervey/etc. She was a twin and this article tells of her search for her long lost twin sister who it says was taken by a John Thompson when the twins were 3 years old, which would be 1857. Harriet's obituary says she was born Jan. 1 1854 in Black Log, Huntingdon and the article says the family was living in Huntingdon when the sisters were separated. The article says John Thompson soon moved west to possibly Iowa. I assume he would have been married but the only thing I know for sure is that this John Thompson would have a girl in his family who was born in 1854. The article says her name was probably Juniata or Susquehanna, although I'm sure it is possible that he changed her name. I would dearly love to 'reunite' these two long lost sisters even though it is so many years later. Right now I am just trying to find a John Thompson with a daughter of the right age. Thanks for any kind of help, Elizabeth ================================================ --- "Carolyn K.
