    3. In the 1850 Huntingdon county census, Union Twp, pg 202: George W. Hazard 52 farmer $2000 all in hh born PA Barbara " 43 William " 22 laborer Mariah Baker 20 " Sarah A. Johnston 1? (or 6?) Solomon Hazard 6/12 Cass twp, pg 209 Philip Curfman 71 farmer $3500 born MD Eve Baker 50 born PA Mary 26 " Margaret 24 " Silas 16 " 1880 Census, Van Buren, Newton Co, MO, pg 424B William P. Hazard 53 PA everyone's father and mother born PA Mariah wife 48 PA Charles W. son 6 MO Mary B. dau 2 MO Margret Baker sister in law 54 PA I could not find Solomon Hazard in 1880. There are several other Hazard families in Huntingdon County in the 1850 census. All give PA as a birthplace. None old enough to be the father of George W. (William?) In the 1850 PA census index, the great majority of the Hazard/Hazzards are in Philadelphia. I have an early (before 1700) Hazard line in Sussex County, DE, many of whom went to Philadelphia. The DE family loved the names David and William best, so you may eventually get back there with your line.
