    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Shaver, Shaffer, Galbraith, Kling, Long, Kirk Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/ZdB.2ACI/3537.2 Message Board Post: Emma, Some of your SHAVERs are buried at Mt. Union I.O.O.F. cemetery. Dave Wilson did a transcription which is available in the Huntindon Co. Archive at: http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/pa/huntingdon/cemeteries/mtunioncemetery.txt I have the 1910 obituary from the Mt. Union Times (2 Dec 1910, front page) with a photo of John S. Shaver. This is one that I have never transcribed which is very unusual for me. Frankly, I don't even know why I made a copy of it (had the Mt. Union Times microfilm on interlibrary loan from the Pennsylvania State Library in June 2001) because I don't have anyone in my database that connects to him but I've kept it all these years because it is packed with information about the family. It states that John's father and grandfather were both named Peter Shaver. Do you have a fax machine? I'd love to get this into your hands as soon as possible. Please contact me directly.
