I also have not been able to figure out where Benjamin Rough fits in the picture. I do not have him as one of Henry's children, but I don't have the names of all of them either (he had quite a few) -- so it is possible he may be a child of his. There are several connections to the Aurandt family as well. Henry's grandson, David Alexander (my great-greatgrandfather) married Ella Fink Aurandt, the widow of William K. Aurandt and the grandmother of Paul Harvey, the radio guy. I would be interested in any of the Rough church records you have found. I also have the names of several of Henry Rough's children (I got them from his will). So it is possible that one or more had married into the Gray or Merritt families (other than Benjamin).
