I am looking for the graves of my grandfather Frank Eckard and my great grandfather Dillar Eckard. I recently acquired Dillar's obituary, he died in 1930. He was viewed at the L. C. Temple & Son Funeral home. The reverand Charles Strong of the Zion Lutheran Church in Petersburg officiated at the funeral. Interment was made at Cedar Grove Cemetery. His wife Catherine preceded him in death so I assume she is there as well. I have been to the Cedar Grove Cemetery but have not found Dillar or Frank. Who keeps the records of this cemetery as it is quite large and can I contact them? Also, where could I find the funeral home records. I don't believe there are any funeral homes in Petersburg today. I have been searching for these graves for years now with no luck. Hopefully this obit has broken the brickwall on this family for me. Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give me.
