She was the daughter of John Palmer and Elizabeth Ashman. Margaret married Jacob Isett, born about 1828 in Pennsylvania. Margaret and Jacob had a daughter Margaret born about 1848. In 1860, Jacob and Margaret, daughter Margaret, and the elder Margaret's mother Mary Palmer (her maiden name) Mcclay, were in the Clarksburg area, between California and Tipton, Missouri. By 1870 they were in Penn Township, Huntingdon County, PA. In 1880 in Franklin Township, Huntingdon County, PA. Does anyone have these folks in their family tree? Sue Palmer
I don't have your specific Jacob Isett, but I have a lot of other Isett names from the Penn Township and Marklesburg areas of Huntingdon County. If someone can tell you Jacob's father, that may help to connect him to these Isetts.
