Together they had the following children: Charles McMullen; William McMullen married Margaret Herage; Samuel McMullen; John McMullen; James McMullen; Rachel McMullen; George McMullen; and Absalom McMullen. I do not know the order of birth or when, but my information starting with Charles has the date of 1789. As to whether this is a birthdate or the date he arrived in the United States I do not know. At some point they took up residence in Bradford county Pennsylvannia. I am decended from William & Margaret McMullen. They had a son named Norman McMullen who had a son named Leroy McMullen who had a son named George McMullen (1930) my father. William settled in Mills county Iowa and Norman & Leroy are buried in McClelland, Pottowanami county Iowa. My family lived in the Olster area of Ireland outside of Dublin. We are not Irish Catholics. History that was relayed to me says that we came from Scotland to Ireland as "Planters". Protestants to thin out the catholic presence in Dublin. I have military information for a couple of the brothers that fought in the revolutionary war, the war of 1812, and the Civil war. Anything that you can add to Charles-William-Norman-etc would be appreciated. Hope this helps Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
