    3. Carolyn, it's not often that I can help YOU! Yes, your Flemings are connected. Samuel Fleming (b: 1783-Shade Gap, Huntingdon Co; d: 1860) was brother of Jane Fleming Gamble. Both were children of James Fleming (of the will that was proven in 1825) and wife Annie Morton who were buried in the Fleming Farm Cemetery, Neelyton PA. I have senior James Fleming's death as 21 Mar 1822. James and Annie Morton Fleming (my 5th great grandparents) had the following children: 1. Robert Morton (c1777-1858) m: Catherine Campbell (1776-1846) - my 4th great grandparents 2. Samuel (1783-1860) m: Elizabeth Kennedy 3. Thomas Morton (c1785-1868) m: Elizabeth Richardson 4. John (1786-1862) 5. Anne (1786-1857) m: Thomas Walker 6. Jane (c1787 - ) m: James W. Gamble (1778-Bef 1829) 7. Sarah (c1788 - ) m: Welch 8. Elizabeth (c1789 - 1875) m: George Richardson 9. Rachel (1790 - ) m: Curry 10. Catherine (c1791-Bef 1825) m: Matthew Curry (1782-1870) 11. Presty Richardson Fleming -- this child is more likely the offspring of either #3 or 8. Your Samuel and his wife Elizabeth had at least one other son, James (1810-1863) who married Elizabeth Shirley.
