He married Minnie Goss, and they had one child, Ambrose Goss who was my father. I met a relative many years ago in Holidaysburg, PA whose name I believe was David Long and who was a Methodist minister about to move to Ohio. I'm a neophyte at genealogical research but do have a thread on your lineage back to Anson that shows a contemporary named David Long, possibly one and the same?
