I have a lot of information on the family that I would be happy to share. According to my research we are not directly descended from Bartholomew Laporte of Azilum, although we might be descended from his supposed brother John. Anson had a pretty interesting family. One of his brothers got drunk and murdered his best friend and was convicted in a sensational murder trial.
