Rita A. Price, 85, formerly of RD, Mount Union and recently a resident of Woodland Retirement Community, Orbisonia, died at 6:40 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 3 at the Sugar Run Church of the Brethren, Hill Valley Rd, Shirleysburg, with Rev. James Hullihen officiating. Interment was made at Germany Valley Cemetery, RD, Shirleysburg. Arrangement were under direction of Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia. She was born August 16, 1921 in Shirleysburg Township, Huntingdon Co., she was the daughter of the late William A. and Anna B. (Gabert) Krugh. She was married to Bruce D. Price on .October 25, 1946. Mr. Price preceded in death December 20,1989. Mr. Price is survived by a daughter and son: Alice C. Hurwitz of Carlisle and Jay D. Price of Crimona, VA. Also one granddaughter, three step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild. One son Bruce D. Price and two daughters, Annette K. Price and Edna Blanche Price precede her in death. Also three brothers and three sisters precede her in death. Mrs. Price was a member of the Sugar Run Church of Brethern, Hill Valley Rd., Shirleysburg. She was a homemaker and also retired from the Home Nursing Agency as a home health aid.
