If you have an interest in the Peightal Murders which tragically involved John and Sarah Peightal and a lad of 10 years who was working on their farm in Woodcock Valley, Huntingdon Co.,Pa. in November 1869 there have been some e mail messages from me and replies on the Bechtel rootsweb mailing list. I tried to include the Huntingdon rootsweb list on my message but made an error in the web address. I wish to learn how were the parents of the murdered couple and child who was with them on the evening of November 17, 1869 when two robbers took their lives in search of the money Mr. Peightal was supposed to have hidden around his home.
