Richardson indicates he has known Jacob Kifer since he was 15 and his wife, Elizabeth Loy since she was about 20 years old, that she came to Blair County before her marriage to live with a family named Pectel. 20 July 1912: Martin Royer, who says that he was born 16 Feb 1846, has known Jacob Kifer for fifty years, and that he was at their "serenading" when they were married. http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/pa/blair/military/civilwar/pensions/kifer-jacob.txt I assume this is the William we are talking about.
