I think his parents or grandparents were originally from Lancaster, PA. James was b. ca 1776-1882 in NC. James m. an Agnes Henderson ca 1801. He had 7 brothers and 8 sisters: John, Stewart, William, Thomas, Samuel, Benjamin and Alexander. Deborah and Sarah (Sally) were the sisters. He went from NC, to Pulaski Co., KY area then to Warren Co., TN and then to Madison Co., AR where he died. If these names sound familiar, please HELP! Any clue appreciated!

His wife was Adeline, we believe, Adeline Thomas was born in 1801/NY (her age is off a tad in the l850 census reading). Adeline's sister Hannah Thomas was living within their home from 1850-through 1870. Richard Caruthers died in l865 and his wife Adeline referred to a Paul Blackmer to take care of his estate. >From your Caruther research do these names sound at all familar? As we know nothing further about Richard except for his census readings in l850 and l860. Looking forward to hearing from you! Michelle

    3. I am looking for the parents of Keziah JOHNSON, born abt 1813 in Warrior's Mark. Keziah married John HUNTER, son of David Gilmore and Jane Kinney HUNTER and eventually moved to Antis Twp. She died 18-Feb-1884 and is buried in Logan Valley Cemetery. All help appreciated, Abby, Ellicott City, MD

    2. Hello, Not I do not have any info, but I find it interesting that you too have a Richard HALL. My 2nd greatgrandmother's (Mary Ann nee DOLAN KELLY) second marriage was to a Richard HALL, b. abt. 1817, Ireland, BUT he died in 1875, Allegheny Co., PA, and is buried in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Lawrenceville, Allegheny Co., PA. This couple had a son Richard HALL, who was born, Aug 1859, Tyrone Twp., Blair Co., PA. The dates don't match, but thought to send this info to you. Good luck with your search.
