Samuel's father was Christian Harnish who removed to Huntingdon County about 1790. I am searching for Henry Barrick born 1835 (per census) born in PA shows up in Polk County, IA in 1868 marriage to Margaret Lawrence (nee Fagan) and on 1880 census in Polk County... with a son: John A. He lived in Lincoln Twp. He first married Susann Shultz and had some children and later married Sarah Shultz Moyer and they had 2 children, Sarahs obituary was in the Altoona Tribune, but none of Daniel.
