Charles may be from Chester County. In 1870 they are for the third decade in Mount Union area. In the census their children are listed as Susan J, Mary, John, Margaret Ann, william, Ellen, Malinda and James. My husband is a descendant of James. Minister, First Methodist Episcopal Church: Methodism may well be said to have reached to the four corners of the earth, and the faith is found in every hamlet, and at many cross roads. Civilization must necessarily have the Christian religion to exalt true faith in God and the principles of morality, and one of its worthy exponents of Methodism throughout this section is that of the Rev. E.B. Davidson. Rev. Mr. Davidson was born at Bedford, Bedford County, Pa. A son of the H.C. Davidson, who was a Justice of the Peace in Bedford County for a period of twenty-one years, and a Deputy Register and Recorder for twenty years; now deceased; died in 1909. The mother of Rev. Davidson was Ada (Samson) Davidson, who died in 1928. At Bedford public school the Rev. Davidson began his early training, and was a graduate of the High School of Bedford, Pa. Has been clerk in store, a telegrapher with P.R.R. and C.& P.R.R.; also bookkeeper and teller with the Hartley Banking Company, ! of Bedford Pa.; has served as clerk on election board, Mifflin County, Pa. An Independent in politics. Attended Williamsport Dickinson Seminary. Received degree of A.B. at Dickinson College, Carlisle; also attended two summer sessions at Drew Theological Seminary, Madison, New Jersey. First ministerial charge was a Eagles-Mere and Laporte, followed by Littlestown, Pa; Riddlesburg, Pa.; Reedsville; West Street, York, Pa.; Mechanicsburg, Pa.; Muncy, Pa., and was assigned to the Huntingdon charge, March 28, 1929. Has two brothers: Wm. J. and James S., Bedford, Pa. Rev. Davison was married to Mary L. Willoughby, Bedford, Pa. One daughter, Lois, at home. Rev. Davidson has become very popular, and being a Kiwanian will be a help in promoting Huntingdon hospitality.

Has two brothers! : George, married Ruth Huffman, Saltillo, Pa.; J.S., Springfield, Ohio, manager of life insurance company. One brother deceased, Luther, thirty-seven years of age. He has one sister, Clara, married to Harry Jones, Springfield, Ohio, a carpenter. He was married to Viola Stevens, a daughter of J. Bart and Anne Stevens, of Clear Ridge, Fulton Co., Pa. They have one daughter, Annalee, who finished grade school, Three Springs, Pa., and graduated from the Orbisonia High School. Attends Juniata College, music and general course.

Mr. Daily was Assistant Superintendent of the Government plant, Mount Union; now at State College, Pa., supervisor of maintenance and repairs, a lucrative position. A Republican in politice. Has two sisters: Mrs. Bessie Clark and Mrs. Marshall Singer. Was married to Emily Ruth Carey, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. They have one son, Harry, Jr., two years. Four daughters: Edith Ruth, twelve; Phyllis, seven, at school; Dorothy, five, and Miriam, three, at home. He is a member of the Country Club. Mr. Daily is deserving of much credit for the improvement of his efforts and intellect in this his chosen work. Has traveled extensively. For seven months supervising construction work in Florida.

Brown of 1523 Fourth avenue, veteran of the Civil war, only living charter member of Logan lodge, No. 79, Knights of Pythias, and believed to be one of the oldest members of the organization in the country, former shopman and merchant, tomorrow celebrates his 92nd birthday. William H. Brown was born in Juniata county on July 20, 1840, a son of Ezekiel and Elizabeth Keyser Brown. His father was a veteran of the War of 1812. Mr. Brown was twice married, both wives preceding him in death. His first wife was Miss Ellen Walls of McVeytown, who died a number of years ago. Eleven children were born to the union, four of whom are now living, J. W. Brown and Mrs. William Linker of the city, Mrs. Elizabeth Pafanbaugh of Dormont, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Grace Knott of Washington, DC. His second wife, Mrs. Lavina Day Brown, died on the night of Dec. 24, 1930. There are also a stepson, James C. Day of the city, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. May 25, 1932 Mrs. Rosanna Diehl, Duncansville's oldest citizen, is today being honored on the occasion of her 94th birthday. Mrs. Diehl has for many years has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. George W. Myers of 1425 Fourth avenue, Duncansville. She is the widow of Isaac Diehl, who died many years ago, and has been a resident of central Pennsylvania all her life. Six of her children, three daughters and three sons, are living. Mrs. Samuel Hatfield, Of Alexandria, Mrs. Orlena Moudy of Pittsburgh, Mrs. George W. Myers of Duncansville, David Diehl of Eldorado, Joseph Diehl of Newry, and Amos Diehl, of Washington state. July 26, 1930 George H. Dibert celebrated his 76th birthday anniversary on July 19th. Mr. Dibert was born in Greenfield township, Huntingdon county, now a part of Blair county, on July 19, 1834. Mr. Dibert was operator on the first electric street car in this city and is a survivor of the Johnstown flood. He was a helper in hewing down the timber for the breast of the lake of Lakemont park He is now retired from Lippincotts' after serving them for thirty-eight years. Fifty-three persons attended. George and Jemima had six children: Colonel George Ashman b. 20 May 1740, died 5 Nov 1811; Josephus; Nancy b. 29 Nov 1747; Elizabeth; Ellen; and Sarah b. 1765.
