    3. Hi, The Wilson could well be that there are Wilson Family members. Good example: My Great Grandfather was Basil Avis Weaver...........wondered where he ever recieved his name. After years of searching I found his Mother is - Jeanette Frances Downs / Weaver........okay no Avis........ Than after a kind person found Jeanette's parents by accident when she was looking for her family..........she sent me a copy of Jeanette's parents marriage record..........I only knew them as Robert and Mary Downs.........well , on the marriage application it was listed Robert Downs married Mary E. Avis.........so now, I know where my Great Grandfather recieved his middle name..........fro his Grandmother. Years ago, they did this. So........my guess again is that somewhere Wilson fits in there! Kindly Bea Oh yes.....found a few others in my tree like that as well. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, June 13, 2006 1:35 PM Subject: [PAHUNTIN] Re: Wilson's in Huntingdon County, Pa. > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Wilson, Craig, Dunn, Mccloskey > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ZdB.2ACI/2078.1.1 > > Message Board Post: > > I am trying to figure out a possible connection to the Craig/Wilson line. > My g-g grandmother's name was Lucretia Wilson Dunn. He was born abt. 1775 and died in 1850. He moved to Huntingdon County from somewhere in Eastern PA. His wife was Mary Fink who was born approximately the same time. Henry's son Soloman married into the Geissinger family. His daughter Catherine married into the Graffius family (in fact Henry raised his grandson Abraham Graffius for a while). Does anyone know anything about this family? They lived next door to Soloman Fink, however Mary was not listed in Soloman's father, Valentine's, will. Can anyone provide any connection between Soloman and Mary? I've been on a dead end on this for years.

Union Times microfilm on interlibrary loan from the Pennsylvania State Library in June 2001) because I don't have anyone in my database that connects to him but I've kept it all these years because it is packed with information about the family. 3. I have some more photos from McElroy's book and they are as follows: Rev. Albert E. Davis Willis Gaylord Dell George J. Edgin Prof. Joseph Walter Eckley Harvey R. Eyles I also have a family picture of two adults, four male children and one female child. The photo follows the bio of Joseph Eckley but the bio does not mention children. The picture precedes a bio of E.E. Ellenberger but his bio lists four sons but no daughter. The placement suggests the picture belongs to Eckley but perhaps someone can look at it when its posted on the website and provide some more info. Please email me off list at [email protected] with the surname of the photo desired in the subject line. Thanks.

    3. I am hoping someone can help me with information on the parents of Mary M. Baker, who married Lawrence S. Swope in 1856. Mary was born 4/9/1824. In the 1860 and 1870 census years, Eve Baker, was living with Mary and Lawrence. I am assuming this was Mary's mother. Eve was born about 1800. I would like to find out Eve's maiden name, and which Baker she was married to. Eve may have been a Curfman, as she was living with Philip Curfman, age 71, in the 1850 census. In addition to Mary, she had other children living with her: Mary, 26, Margaret, 24, and Silas, 16. This would most likely indicate her husband died prior to 1850. Any leads on Eve, her husband, her parents for sure, and where she/they are buried would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Deb
