    3. My earliest Isett from Huntingdon County is James K. Isett (5/28/1813 - 8/11/1863) who married Elizabeth Garner (8/11/1816 - 3/28/1889). Do you know if there is any connection? The original poster mentioned her Jacob/John was in Penn Township in 1870. Since this was the hub of my Isett family line, it seems very likely there was some sort of connection. Do you have any additional information on the siblings and/or other children of John Stockdale Isett? An article says that Harriet had a twin sister who was given to a man named JOhn Thompson and they moved west, possibly Iowa. Can anyone tell me if there might be a place where adoption records are kept for the time period of 1854 - 1860? If he legally adopted this twin sister (named Juniata or Susquehanna ?), perhaps there is a record of it somewhere in Huntingdon Co.? Thanks. You have all been a big help to me so far.
