    3. Carolyn, Found another confirmation of this. http://www.pa-roots.org/data/read.php?377,443936 and considering the grandmother of this baby would have been Ruemma, that particularly makes sense. 3. Hi Carolyn, You got me digging around on this line tonight. I am a Devor and I haven't done a lot on that line yet. When I went to the Franklin county site and Path Valley marriages I found the Devors, Petersons, Thompsons, and other lines that I know all interconnect for me. I REALLY want to see your research when you are done!! I have been doing most of my digging in Huntingdon Co so far. Anyway, here is a link on rootswen that may be your solution. http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=rrrose2&id=I035983 The text there: "Jesse Daver, b. 1771, Chester Co PA, d. 25 Feb 1833, Spring Run, Franklin Co PA, m. 1815 Ruemma "Amy" Peterson, d/o Robert Peterson, sister of Robert, James and David Peterson; she died 26 Apr 1858. He took care of his father until his death and didn't marry until after his father died. He and Amy had: Jane, Mary, Joseph, James H., David H., Jacob J., Elizabeth w/o Wm. Gill and Amos McGinley Devor. " Now this mentions Elizabeth wife of Wm Gill, but I thought this was a good lead for you. William James? James William??? Please do post to this list when your database is ready. I particularly am looking for leads on Roles and Thompsons that were intermarried with this bunch! For the marriage records go to the Franklin County genweb site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/pa/franklin/church.htm. The earliest marriages start with Rev David Denny in 1794, then a second section is the marriages of Rev Amos McGinley (1804-1852). Be sure to check both sections. The early ministers served not only Fannett twp, but married people from Huntingdon, Juniata and Fulton counties. There have been budget cuts, and then the flooding we had in D.C. about 5 weeks ago caused extensive damage. NARA in D.C. was completely off-limits for over 3 weeks. The basement was under water, including the nice new cafeteria that they had recently added. They are having to tear things out and completely redo it. The building is open now, but they are still running off of generators, and there is only limited power available. You are not allowed to plug in laptops, and the second floor research room is not being powered at all. Researchers are being kept in a smaller room on the first floor to view their files, but there are only two copiers running, and you are timed at 5 minutes of copying and then you have to go to the end of the line and wait again. The "regulars" are scrambling to keep up with their workload. There is limited seating for researchers in the smaller room, and those without a seat have to wait outside the room on a waiting list and not be allowed in until another researcher exits.
