Source was the National Archives For Veterans Records. He was a Lieutenant in The Revolutionary War. Pension# S23669. We believe he died on his farm at Allepo, Pa as there is an old cemetery on the farm near Graysville,Greene Co PA. He died Aug 09 1834. He married Bythenia Bane and not sure of the date (1792 ?). She was born Oct 28,1773 and died Sept 23 1817 near Ryerson's Station Pa. Bythenia Bane's parents were Ellis b Oct 01 1773 d Aug 23 1838 m abt 1770 to Elizabeth (Patton)Bane b 1747 d Bef 1830. They are both buried at the Lazear Cemetery near Graysville, Pa. Ellis Banes father Joseph Bane b 1710 m 5-29-1741 to Perthiana Ellis b abt 1747 d Aft Oct 1772 near Goshen Pa his father was Mordecai Bane b. 1683 in England or, Inverness Shire Scotland and died 1747 in Goshen Pa. m 12-29-1705 "town St Pauls Church Pa" to Naomi Medley b1683 d Apr 1731 Chester Co Pa. Sorry I don't have John Gray b Jan 1761 "father" and "mothers" name. If you have it? It would be most appreciated.
