Miller may be my great grandfather. He was born on 01/08/1835 to Jacob Miller and Della Dumbauld (her name may have been Dolly vs. Della)and died on 01/09/1921. His last residence was actually in Middlecreek Township (quite close to Trent). Depending on the date signed, his age would have been 67 or 68. Some names and data I discovered just this evening (what do you think of those odds) showed that a Johas Hessel Gary, (born 11/20/1825 in Barronville, Somerset, PA and died 09/22/1903 in Barronville, Somerset, PA) married Joanna Miller on 2/4/1849 in Fayette Co, PA., daughter of Jacob Miller and Dolly Dumbauld. She was born 2/30/1830 in Salt Like Twp., Fayette Co., PA; christened 09/25/1830 and died 07/25/1924 in Middlecreek Twp., Fayette Co., PA. I have been looking for other ancestors and perhaps Joanna and John D are Peter's brother and sister. However, Peter's son, John C. Miller, was born in Greene Co. on 11/13/1879 and is listed on the! 1880 Aleppo Township cenus records. Sometime after 1882 or 1883, Peter took John and Daniel to Middlecreek Township, Somerset Co., PA. I look forward to hearing from you to know if this information helped and if so, to maybe finding out if some information you have will help me.
