Elijah/Elizah was born in Whiteley Twp., Greene Co., PA and is supposed to have married Elisabeth PATTON and then moved to IL. I can specifically identify Elijah/Elizah in the 1850 census, but NOT after that. Where was Elijah/Elizah at the time of the 1860, 1870, 1880 and 1900 census. What did he do for a living? When did he actually move to IL? Did he marry, and if so, to whom? Was it to Elisabeth Patton (or someone else)? IF it was Elisabeth Patton, who were her parents and where was she born? Robert Earl Ketchem suggests that she was born in 1830 and died in 1924 (in IL), but I can't find her in the census. This is part of a project to identify the various parts of my wife's MORRIS family who settled in Greene Co., PA. Willing to share information.
