Calvert and Eleanor Thralls had 10 children and after Eleanor died and John married Margaret Marshall, daughter of James Marshall, they had 4 children. Malinda was born in 1862. Margaret died in 1888. James(Lazar) couldn't be John and Margaret's son, BUT he could very well be Malinda's son, if related at all. She would have been 32 when he was born, possibly out of wedlock.
