Ruth, The same thing happened to me once! Maybe it was the same kind lady? I was surprised by it too, and greatly appreciated her offer. Also, people may want to consider donating a book for genealogy research or reference, to one of the genealogy rooms like Cornerstone, Greene County. Sometimes I'll order a book that I know I won't read but once. Those are the ones I donate after I read them. I just mail the books to them. I figure others who visit Cornerstone will enjoy reading them too. I picked Cornerstone since that's where I began my research over 10 years ago. So, they have a warm spot in my heart! They have helped me a great deal.
