    1. Re: [PAGRE] PAGREENE Digest, Vol 4, Issue 147
    2. Here's a related question regarding the Shriver family on the recent Shriver/Jackson discussion. ?I am researching Peter Livingston (b 1775) who was reportedly married to a Margaret Shriver (daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth in Greene), according to several researchers. ?Peter and Margaret then moved to Fairfield County, Ohio about 1805, then on to Licking County where they lived until they died in the mid 1800's. ? Some of their children were born in WV but adjacent to Greene County, PA. ?The Margaret Shriver cited in the discussion was born about 1789. ?Is it possible she could be the same Margaret who married Peter Livingston? ?Are there any records for a Livingston family living in or adjacent to Greene County, PA? Thanks in advance for any comments you may have. What is your source for the first names of the shriver men married to Christina (b. 1786, not 1789), Margaret (b. 1789)and Sarah (b. 1801)? My direct line is Michael and Susan Johnson Shriver. Do you have any information on either of these folks? I don't. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. My only documentation is from page 402 of "The Tenmile Country and its Pioneer Families" by Lecky. It states "#9. Mary Shriver, born June 25, 1801, died in 1845. She is also said to have married ----- Jackson. An old letter says four Shriver girls married two men named Jackson. These two men were Jacob and Samuel Jackson, sons (?) of Henry and Elizabeth (Stump) Jackson." Is your Michael born 30 June 1797, child #7 listed on page 401? I also have the "Tenmile" book info. Unfortunately, we don't know anything about his wife, Susan Johnson. They had 8 children. Michael and Susan's daughter, Sarah Jane married John Steen (my great, great grandparents)and we are related that way. Their son Michael married Welthy Ann Dutton (my great grandparents), their daughter Jessie Merle married Pearley Cleveland Lawrence (my grandparents). From Michael and Welthy on to the present lived in Noble County, Ohio. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. KY A family Bible shows Aurely's name as Irene; that may be incorrect. Eliza's husband was John McGee according to the obituary of his daughter Rebecca. The children may have been born near Louisville, KY, or even closer to the Kentucky-Ohio border. By 1860 Eliza, Rebecca, and Irena are living in Monongalia County, VA, now WV. Eliza seems to have died before 1870. At some point Rebecca married a Reed, first name unknown, location of marriage unknown; and in 1874 she married Henry Clay Binkley in Chicago, Illinois. Irena was the first wife of John Keener Durr, who was born in Greene County, PA. They were divorced, and she married Louis Allred, probably in Cooke County, Texas. Irena and her children returned to Pennsylvania by 1920, when they were in Greene County. In 1930 they were in Fayette County. Irena's daughter Katherine Durr, unmarried, lived in Uniontown for many years. Daughter Ida married John Heaney, probably in Texas, where she died. Her children Anna Lee Heaney, John Durr Heaney, and Irene Margaret Heaney lived with their aunt Katherine. Irene married Dr. Francis D. Roelkey, a native of Frederick, MD, in 1914 in Texas. By 1920 they were in Greene County, PA, and by 1930 in Uniontown, Fayette Co., PA, where they lived for many years. Any information about this family appreciated but am particularly interested in information about Aurely, Eliza, and their husbands.
