McDonald Lewis Henry McDonald, 66, of Graysville, R.D. 1, died at 9:07 a.m. Monday, April 5, 1948, at his home following an illness of six years. A native of Jackson Township, he was born March 16, 1882, a son of the late David and Lucinda Boone McDonald. He was a member of the South Wheeling Baptist Church at Ryerson Station. He was twice married. His first wife was Anna Belle Morris McDonald and by this union he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Goldie Johnson, of Rogersville, and Mrs. Hattie Grimes, of Waynesburg. For his second wife he married Sarah Rohm, who survives. By this union he leaves two sons, Robert McDonald, of Sellarsville, and Linsley McDonald, at home. He also leaves two stepsons, Frank Rohm, of Wind Ridge, and Roy Rohm, of Waynesburg; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and the following brothers and sisters: Scott McDonald, of Wind Ridge; James McDonald, of Waynesburg, R.D.; Mrs. Hettie Green, of Waynesburg; Mrs. Mary Wampler, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Hattie Phillips and Mrs. Bertha Phillips, of Prosperity. This funeral notice appeared the same newspaper, same date: McDonald - Funeral services for Lewis Henry McDonald, of Graysville, R.D. 1, who died Monday, April 5, 1948, will be held Thursday, April 8, at 2 p.m., in the South Wheeling Baptist Church at Ryerson Station, with the Rev. L.W. Peters officiating. Burial in Rosemong Cemetery, Rogersville. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home, Rogersville, until noon Wednesday and after 1 p.m. at the McDonald residence.
