Several years ago I came upon some records of the area now in Greene & Washington Co., PA from the time that VA claimed them on top of a filing cabinet in the land records room at the courthouse in Morgantown, WV. Since Ohio County is still extant in WV, records for areas once claimed by Ohio Co, VA but now in PA may also be in Wheeling.
