O--kay... I'm stumped. I need a 1940s fashion guru. WHAT in ladies fashion is "a [specify color] suit with luggage accessories" [a blue suit.... a brown suit... etc.] -- what are luggage accessories? Does it just mean her whatever-color suit had accessories that matched her traveling luggage? What kind of "accessories" would they be? A wide leather strap for a waist belt? lol A metallic bow?? lol A "hinged veil"? lolol A "shiny" halo to match the new shiny luggage? lol Or, dried wrinkled make-up to match an old dried-leather suitcase? haha! One or two big "handles" attached to her sides? LOLOL I searched the 'Net but all I found were similar 1940s wedding announcements using the same phrase, that the bride wore a colored suit with luggage accessories. Anyone know of an Internet picture? Judy
