I believe there may be an additional typo in the obit--according to the 1850 census, Delila was born about 1839, not 1849. She is named as the eldest daughter in the will of her father, James Gooden in 1885 and by 1850 there were two other females in the family. Additionally, her husband was born around 1834, so it seems more likely that she was around 68-69 when she passed in 1908. Or, perhaps a family member was trying to keep her young!
