Greene Co., PA, Will Book Vol. 3, p. 48, No. 1333, FHL Film #0864503: WILL OF NOAH GRANT} In the name of God Amen I Noah Grant of Morgan Township, Greene County and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind and memory and understanding but being sick and weak in body and calling to mind the Mortality of all mankind and believing man is mortal and was born to Die and so believe it is my dutie to regulate my estate by a writen will and testament Do make constitute and ordain this my last will and testament in the words following to [w]it first will that my body be decently intered and all my just debts and final Expenses be paid. 2nd I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Margaret Grant all my property both real and personal with all money Bonds notes and book accnts to have to hold the same to her to will and to do of the same as full and as effectfully as I my self could do if living and I do hereby ordain this to be my last will and testament.
