A, 168th Pennsylvania (drafted) Regt. Children: William SHAPE, b. abt. 1848, d. bef. 1860. Margaret Maria SHAPE, b. 1 Mar 1851. Hannah Jane SHAPE, b. 2 Jun 1854. Lydia Ann SHAPE, b. 8 Apr 1857 (unmarried as of 1900). Hiram S. SHAPE, b. abt. Feb 1860, d. 1864. Elizabeth Ellen SHAPE, b. 14 Jul 1862 (married John F. LEWIS).
