Any one have info on Susanah Gray(or Suesanne Grey) b. ca 1744 a cousin of President James Monroe, who married a John (orJohanes DeCamp)? Other Gray/Grey names associated with this line is Matthias Cowan who made the first settlement in N. Huntingdon Twp. and married a Miss Gray. Abner Gray/Grey -Miss Gray/Grey's brother was captured by Indians on their farm. John Gray's wife Hannah died 30 July 1850 age 53 and buried in Long Run Presbyterian Cemetery in N. Huntingdon twp. Supposedly the John DeCamp & a John Grey/Gray were neighbors in Westmoreland Co. but I haven't seen written proof. Any help would be greatly appreciated in connecting these lines.
