They had several children - David M. Santee, Samuel Santee, Elizabeth (married Joseph Washburn), Sarah, Rebecca (married John Grooms). The children were all born in Adams County. Joseph was buried in the Crooked Tree Cemetary next to Sarah in 1870. Sarah was the daughter of Basil Gordon (1770-1853) and Elizabeth Dillinger.
