Not because it's my own line, but because I'm descended from the Evans line of Amwell Twp., Washington Co., PA and want to find if there are connections between the two lines and if not to have a list of who is in the Greene Co., line so I can avoid confusion. For instance: There's a note in the history of, I believe, the Goshen Baptist Church of a David Evans and wife Mary who were received into fellowship and he voted elder on 12 May 1775. One of the Washington County, PA history books attach this to the David Evans of Amwell, but a correspondent recently made me aware that this David Evans came from CT while I believe the Amwell David Evans came from NJ. Therefore I suspect it should be attached to the Greene Co., David Evans. Can someone verify this and give me a link or two to the genealogy of the Greene Co., David Evans?
