Mrs. Belle Anderson Parsons, aged 78, died at the home of her son, Charles Parsons, of Ryerson Station, Friday, July 9, 1943, at 10:35 PM, after an illness of one week. She was born June 2, 1865, in Jackson Township, a daughter of the late Morris and Eilza Phillips Anderson, and spent all her life in western part of Greene County. Her husband, the late Vincent Parson, preceded her in death in 1920. Surviving are Mrs. Della Durbin, of Rock Lick, W. Va.; Charles Parson, of Ryerson Station; Mrs. Eliza Willard, of Hundred, W. Va.; Leslie Parson, of West Finley; Mrs. Jessie Blue, of Brave; George Parsons, of Pine Bank; Mrs. Minnie Johnson, of Holbrook, RD, and Orcar Parson, of Portersville, Pa. Another daughter, Mrs. Grace Bowers, is deceased. Surviving brothers are: John Anderson, of Elm Grove, W. Va.; Spencer Anderson, of Wind Ridge; George Anderson, of Holbrook, RD, and Dorsey Anderson, of Washington, Pa. Also surviving are 55 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Sugar Grove Brethern Church. Laura N.
