    1. [PAGRE] Website additions & coming attractions
    2. Judy Florian
    3. Hi everyone, Visitors to my 3 Washington County websites might come across 300 to 500 hundred partially completed webpages over the next few months. To explain: In the newest project, Sandy Miklavic has agreed to submit her HUGE collection of marriage notices, license notices and some divorce notices. (Thank you Sandy!) She'll be sending me images in batches, and both of us are working to get them typed. For now, I'm making the semi-blank pages where images will be placed. Some of these semi-completed pages already have 1 or 2 images (and placeholders for more). The area covered is around McDonald and that area (Sturgeon, Midway, Burgettstown, Hickory, etc). But the project has some people from Pittsburgh, WVA, Ohio, NY and western states, from what I've seen so far. Some have also mentioned Beaver PA. A few have "Green" County PA. It also includes some out of state people marrying local persons (or relatives publish the notice for someone out of state). When finished, the project will have an alphabetized index. So if you come across a name that interests you from one of these pages, maybe bookmark it and check back later. I'm putting up images / typed info as fast as I can, but this project will extend over many months. Also, some pages may be a little large for dial-up (meaning you might not see the newspaper notice) but you'll be able to get the newspaper name, date, and transcribed typed text. I try to keep pages small, but with this amount of images I had to put 4 to 6 of them in each page. Also, Vicki, well-known contributor on these Lists, still sends me photos and articles. I've been adding those too, although I have not always made "announcements" to the Lists. Thank you Vicki! Between Sandy and Vicki's contributions, the websites will have a considerable amount for the NW part of Washington County! Vicki deserves a lot of credit for her continuous dedication to transcribing for websites and the many RW Lists where she posts! As an FYI, I'm planning on taking many mini-breaks this summer. If you email during this time, it may take me longer to reply but I will be working behind the scenes. Hope you all are enjoying all the recent additions! I got more WWII photos also, so check those out. Judy PS: If you send things for PAGenWeb, Rootsweb has had trouble uploading recently. So it may take longer for submissions to appear.

He had three sons; Charles, who is the same one I have an obit for, and the other two are Robert and Richard. Age wise...one of these two sons could be the husband of Marjorie Tharp Adamski Oliphant. I have 7 children for Marjorie. Can anyone help. I will be happy to share the two obits I have if I can get my answer. Joe Oliphant and son Charles were from Waynesburg, Pa. Joe was also born in 1893. There was no mention of brothers for Joe in his obit. Laura N.
