    1. Re: Notifying people of their virus problem
    2. Hi folks. I have just received another virus from someone that I know, and I know that someone would not have sent me this on purpose. All you have to do is take out the _ that can be found in the address and it will be ok to notify them that they have a virus problem. It will then be deliverable. Unsubscribing from the lists is not the answer either because it is not coming from the list but from saved messages in other's systems. You can however change your email address with your server (aol allows seven address's) and block the old one so it cannot receive mail. That way if the virus sends itself to old messages that someone is saving in their cabinet it will be blocked from coming into your system. The way this thing is working is apparently it does not do a lot of harm (what is a lot?) but will keep sending itself out till the person is notified that there is a problem and they clean up their system. Lets not be mean about this, lets just take care of it. Can't through the baby out with the dishwater you know. Sincerely, Renee Waring
