Hi everyone. Today, I have received 6 virus's in my mail box. They all had an attachment but nothing in the letter portion of the E-mail. I was smart enough not to open them, but replied to the address's of the sender's. Everyone came back that there was no such address. Then I completely delete it out of my system. This is something new, before you could at least warn the sender that they had a problem. I have no idea who's system is sending these out. Just thought I would warn everyone. Sorry if this breaks protocal.
Sorry to break the rules but I think this is soemthing that all should be aware of. I have been doing genealogy work on several families in my husband and my family both. Today I recieved five diffrent emails with Re: then surnames that I had been researching, all with no message but a huge attachement I was smart enough not to open them but think that you should be aware of this. I tried to email all of them back but they all came back. SO IF YOU GET AN EMAIL ON SURNAMES THAT HAS NO MESSAGE ON EMAIL JUST AN ATTACHEMENT EITHER EMAIL THE PERSON IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO THEY ARE OR DELETE THE MESSAGE BUT PLEASE BE CAREFUL. That is last thing. Sorry to break rules but this kinda pertained to genealogy since it is someone using surnames etc to spread viruses-I have talked to many many people all getting same thing from same addresses... Heather PS EMAIL ME PERSONNALY IF YOU HAVE ANY FURTHER QUESTIONS SO NOONE GETS IN ANYMORE TROUBLE. oklahomamom@olp.net or heather74127@yahoo.com ----- Original Message ----- From: <Reneelwaring@aol.com> To: <PAGENWEB-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, November 25, 2001 9:16 PM Subject: PLEASE, PLEASE WATCH FOR VIRUS'S!!! > Hi everyone. > > Today, I have received 6 virus's in my mail box.
