I am searching for information on my g-g-grandfather, JOHN WOOLEVER, who was born in PA in about 1792 (according to an 1850 NY State census), & was married to a MARY (last name unknown) who was born in Westchester, accordind to the same census. I suspect that he was born in Northumberland County, but that is only a guess, based on PA census information that listed quite a few Woolever families residing there from the mid to late 1700's forward. JOHN died in 1863 in Hartsville, Steuben County, NY. I am also interested in information on a DAVID WELLEVER who was born 1/5/1822 in Muncy Hills, PA. His father was also listed as a David on the death certificate, which has his DOD as 5/19/1922 (100 years old!!). DAVID died in Hornell, Steuben County, NY. Any & all information will be greatly appreciated on the subjects, as well as hearing from anyone out there with a Woolever or Wellever connection. THANK YOU!!!
