Dear Dennis, I just read your inquiry about your Grandmother's maiden name & thought I'd quickly send you an idea which I've found to be of value to me. I hope I'm not sending you something so terribly obvious that you've already tried it. In my family I've found that very often a woman's maiden name is very often taken as a middle name of one of her children. You said that she (they) had four children.
