Let me explain - http://ns1.dicomm.net/~cullars/announcement.htm My William Arnet/Arnett was born 1721 to 1737, and moved from PA to Virginia, and SC, and finally to Anson County, NC. It is said, as told to me, that in 1774 he went to South Carolina. Now, I have found out some about his sons, and I see him in the census of Anson County, NC. His sons are born 1749, 1760, 1763, and one died 1779 in the Battle of Savannah. (Georgia) One of the sons Pension states was born Virginia, so I can only imagine that the two, or three of them were born there also. I am Admin of the Arnett-L @rootsweb, and have not seen anything after my two years online. I have no county of origin, and no access to census, or earlier colonial records. Help!
