He may have been born PA 1749. His father may have been a William Arnet born 1721-1737 in PA, that removed to SC in 1774, then to NC in 1775. Peter Arnet may have had three brothers, John, David, William. John is said to have been born 1760 VA. Ga Census Rev. Pensioners. Peter is in the early records for Dobbs, and Anson Co., NC. I believe that the father William had Peter, then around 1760 was in VA, had son William 1767, and /or had David as well. I have no birth date for David. This Tax List may be for his father's property after his father had been gone, and then was sold shortly after 1775 where Peter may have then moved to NC and appears in those records of NC.
